Bayla Whitten Feuerstein

Bayla Whitten Feuerstein is an award-winning actress and singer who is also a home-grown talent, having grown up here at Agudas Achim. She was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London where she earned her Certificate in Vocal Performance. She later transferred to The London School of Musical Theatre after realizing that her passion was for musical theater rather than classical performance. She spent several years performing in London after signing with Burnett Granger Crowther, one of the top agencies in the city.

Bayla eventually returned to the states and has since performed in productions at Signature Theatre, the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is also the lead vocalist for local band, Bittersweet.

Outside of her performance work, Bayla works as a surgical coordinator and medical scribe. She is married to Joshua Feuerstein. Together, they have two children.

About the Sattler Concert

The Sattler Concert is Agudas Achim's annual music event held in honor of the late and beloved David Sattler z"l. David was president of Agudas Achim Congregation (2001-2003), a real mensch, and music lover. During his life, he wasn't shy about expressing his great passion for the melodies of the Hallel services to the songs of the Beatles. Even during the long illness that eventually took his life at the age of 58 in 2017, music brought David peace and pleasure.

The Sattler Concert seeks to spread David's love of music to the members of Agudas Achim and the wider Alexandria community. Whether you knew David or not, we hope that the music that is shared through the Sattler Concert will inspire you to engage, commit, and lead the community with the love and care we strive to pass along to the next generation.
