Food for ALIVE!
Nonperishable food items will remain at the top of ALIVE!’s priority list as long as inflation, housing insecurity, wage inequity, and immigration issues prevail. Think of the impact we could have if each of us adds to our weekly shopping list one or more items for ALIVE! and drops them in the marked coat room bins. Please avoid donations in glass containers.
Items in Highest Demand:
- Canned protein (tuna, salmon, chicken, peanut butter)
- Soups and stews (beef stew, chili, meat-based soups)
- 100% fruit juices (all sizes)
- Grains (pasta, whole grain pasta, rice, brown rice, boxed macaroni and
cheese)
- Cereals (multi-grain, low sugar cereals, oatmeal)
- Canned vegetables
- Canned fruits
- Condiments
- Hygiene products (diapers, toilet paper, tissues, soap, toothpaste)

Walking for ALIVE!
Thanks to everyone who walked and donated to this year’s StepALIVE! Walkathon. AAC earned two awards—one for most walkers and one for most money raised by a participating congregation. Check out both the participation trophy and the fundraising recognition bowl in the Steiner display case in the lobby.
Volunteer
If you have time and energy to donate, ALIVE! welcomes your participation. Check out weekday and evening volunteer opportunities as well as those on weekends on the Volunteer page at its website.
Donate
Financial support is always welcome. Check here for ways to donate.
