Choose any of the following in single-serve cups, packets, boxes, etc.:

Mac & cheese, juices, oatmeal, ravioli and other pasta meals, tuna lunch kits, ramen, chips, crackers, goldfish, raisins, peanut butter and cheese crackers, granola bars, shelf stable milk.

Drop off your contributions in the collection bins in the lobby near the Flax Family Chapel any time March 9 through March 17. Not coming to shul? Mail a contribution directly to ALIVE! marked “AAC Food Drive” in the subject line.

Move Furniture, Change Lives!
March 30, noon to 5 p.m.

Just twice a year, Agudas Achim as a congregation has the opportunity to change the lives of Alexandria families as they move into apartments from unstable housing situations. Just six congregants will have the chance on March 30 to see what a difference a few beds, a table and chairs, a sofa, or some dressers can make in the lives of people who have had nothing. Be part of the team picking up furniture from generous donors and delivering it to eager recipients. Can’t quite manage one corner of a couch? Lamps, sofa cushions, dresser drawers, kitchen chairs might be just your speed. Or you can hold a door open, navigate for the truck driver, find other ways to speed the project along. Act now, contact AAC ALIVE! rep Joan Hartman Moore at wordcrafter88@comcast.net to volunteer before all slots are filled. Individual congregants, their friends, families with teenagers and older—all are welcome.

Many Ways To Contribute
Every Day Throughout the Year

Each month ALIVE! supports 20,000 Alexandrians needing assistance with food, furniture, housewares, housing, and emergency financial assistance. You can help. Bring nonperishable, nutritious groceries to the bin in the synagogue coatroom; volunteer; or send a donation. Scroll the ALIVE! website at alive-inc.org or check it out on social media at @Alive4Alexandria. Find ways to help that fit you best.
