What's New With Alive!

Todah rabah—many thanks—to (l-r) Rena Cooper, Jay Moore, Andrea Flax, ALIVE! rep Joan Hartman Moore, Gavin Rubin, Jason Rubin, and Jack Chesley. They joined volunteers from the Alexandria Baha’i Community and the community at large to moved furniture for ALIVE! on a recent Sunday afternoon. Undaunted by rain, heat, humidity, narrow staircases, and complicated furniture disassemblies, the AAC team picked up and delivered sofas, beds, a futon, a recliner, lamp, and other pieces, enabling some neighbors to fulfill the mitzvah of donating items they no longer need and other Alexandrians to continue the process of rebuilding their lives and building their homes with the furniture delivered.  It was a job well done. The ALIVE! Furniture Chair described the team from AAC as “troopers” who are “a pleasure to work with.
