Connect With Other Young Families

Welcome! Young Families of Alexandria and Arlington offers a place where families raising Jewish children can meet one other, celebrate together, and build community.
In addition to Shabbat and holiday programming, we offer many other opportunities for families to "do something Jewish" with friends and neighbors. Some events are organized by Agudas Achim and others by volunteers. All families are welcome, regardless of synagogue membership or affiliation.
Check our website often for information about upcoming events and to find helpful resources. You can also follow us on Facebook. We hope to see you soon!
Questions or ideas? Contact Jen, Director of Young Family Engagement.

Family Fun

unpanic - parenting in uncertainty
Monday, october 3 | 8 PM
Sunday, October 2, 16, 23 | 3:30 PM

Parenting can be challenging, overwhelming, and stressful under any circumstances but parenting babies, toddlers, and young children during these uncertain times makes it even harder.
Parents are dealing with fear, worry, and uncertainty to name a few…
Join us for a guided conversation where we hope to alleviate concerns you might have, find ways to keep a sense of calm, answer questions, and get support. After our conversation, we will have three curated play dates, allowing your children to meet others their age in a controlled setting.
This event has a $72 registration fee.
