Young Families

Connect with Young Families

We are a volunteer-led group that plans and leads events for families with children ages 0-5. We offer a place where families can meet each other and build a Jewish community.  Events are generally held on evenings and weekends and programmed for parents to attend with children. Although preregistration is sometimes required, programs are open to members and non-members of the synagogue and are generally separate from the Preschool program.  Our signature ongoing programs include: weekly Gan (tot) Shabbat; monthly Shababy Kabbalat Shabbat celebration with singing and juice/challah; and monthly Oh Say Shalom Singing and Playgroup with our Hazzan (Cantor). We also sponsor holiday programming for High Holidays, Sukkot, Chanukah, TuBishvat, etc. To find out more please join Agudas Achim Young Families on Facebook and/or sign up for weekly shul email announcements.  To get involved contact us at
