Young Families of Alexandria/Arlington
Join us for our Young Families Programs!
Connect With Other Young Families
Welcome! Young Families of Alexandria and Arlington offers a place where families raising Jewish children can meet one other, celebrate together, and build community.
In addition to Shabbat and holiday programming, we offer many other opportunities for families to "do something Jewish" with friends and neighbors. Some events are organized by Agudas Achim and others by volunteers. All families are welcome, regardless of synagogue membership or affiliation.
Check our website often for information about upcoming events and to find helpful resources. You can also follow us on Facebook. We hope to see you soon!
Questions or ideas? Contact Jen, Director of Young Family Engagement.
Find Families in Your Neighborhood
Would you like to meet other Young Families who live in your neighborhood? Fill out this Google form and we'll put you in touch with other families in your zip code.
Shabbat Tea Time with Bubbe and Zayde
Tea time for the Whole Family on Shabbat Afternoon
Saturday, April 24 | 4 PM
Invite your grandparents and cousins to join us for what will probably be our last virtual event of the year. We'll read stories about bubbes and zaydes, sing some songs, and share a teatime snack. Bring juice or tea, cookies or muffins -- fancy cups and plates optional! Then, families will meet up in breakout rooms for some special family time together. We hope you'll join us!
