Join us for our Young Families Shabbat Experience!

We know that all families have different rhythms and routines, so we wanted to offer you several different ways to celebrate Shabbat with your friends at Agudas Achim. As always, ALL families are welcome, regardless of synagogue membership or affiliation.

Shabbat Family Jam
January 21 | 11 a.m.
Unless it's a federal holiday weekend or school vacation, families with children birth to age 5 are invited to join Morah Ariel for a Rhythm N' Ruach family Shabbat service. Outdoors if possible; indoors if necessary.
Bring a snack to enjoy after the program. All are welcome on the playground after the program.
Resource: Feel free to print this family-friendly siddur for your personal use.
Gan Shabbat
January 28, February 4 | 11 a.m.
Join Morah Jen for the first Shabbat of every month at 11 AM for Gan Shabbat.
We'll sing some songs and prayers and learn a Torah story. We'll enjoy some challah and grape juice and time with our friends. Bring lunch and stay and play on the playground after the service. We'll meet outdoors when possible, indoors when necessary.
Havdalah Resources
Young Families Havdalah
Saturday, January 21 | 6:30 p.m.
Don your warmest, coziest pajamas and join Morah Jen and other Young Families to bid farewell to Shabbat. We'll gather around the firepit to make s'mores, sing some songs, tell a fun story or two, and make new friends as we welcome in a brand new week.
Young Families and Growing Jewish Families are also partnering together for Pajamuary, so bring a set of NEW PJs to donate for our neighbours in need for this mighty mitzvah project.
Learn more about Havdalah and download a blessings booklet. (Flip on the short side if printing double sided.)
