     In honor of Shabbat Shira, commemorate the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with the voices of the Alfred Street Baptist Church choir and hear the words of Torah by our Guest Speaker, the Rev. Dr. Judy Fentress-Williams, Senior Assistant to the Pastor at Alfred Street Baptist Church, Virginia Theological Seminary professor and the author of "Ruth."  Rev. Dr. Fentress-Williams holds a B.A. in English from Princeton University and a Master of Divinity, Ph.D. in Religious Studies/Old Testament from Yale University.

Due to National Park Service regulations, we are limited to the first 25 people. Families are welcome to attend.  We will meet at Agudas Achim at 6:15pm and Uber down to the National Mall. RSVP here.
