Shavuot

Shavuot with Agudas Achim

Thursday, May 21 – Saturday, May 23

In the past, Shavuot marked the wheat harvest in Eretz Israel. As time moved on, the rabbis began to teach that the Torah was revealed to Moses and the Israelites at Mount Sinai during this holiday. Now, we gather as a community to celebrate this tradition with a night of learning, cheesecake, and prayer.
