ReelAbilities Festival
Sunday, February 23 | 4 p.m. | Beth El Hebrew Congregation, 3830 Seminary Road, Alexandria
Again this year, Agudas Achim will co-sponsor a film with Beth El Hebrew Congregation as part of the JCC ReelAbilities Festival. This year we will screen “DEEJ,” a film about a high-functioning young man who is on the autism spectrum. While he is unable to communicate verbally, he communicates using assistive devices. The film follows this individual as he transitions from high school and attends Oberlin College. A panel discussion will follow the screening. The ReelAbilities Festival is sponsored by the Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia. Admission is free, but please RSVP for an accurate seat count.
