 E. Beatley\, Jr. Central Library\, 5005 Duke Street\n\nAll are welcome and
  encouraged to attend the upcoming City of Alexandria ceremony to commemor
 ate Yom Hashoah. Along with musical selections\, remarks and cantorial sel
 ections from the clergy of Agudas Achim Congregation and Beth El Hebrew Co
 ngregation\, a special guest speaker with share thoughts on remembrance.\n
 \nGuest speaker: Dr. Elizabeth Barry White recently retired as historian a
 nd Research Director for the Holocaust Museum’s Center for the Preventio
 n of Genocide. She spent a career at the U.S. Department of Justice workin
 g on investigations and prosecutions of Nazi criminals and other human rig
 hts violators. She served as deputy director and chief historian of the Of
 fice of Special Investigations and as deputy chief and chief historian of 
 the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section. Her most recent book\, 
 “The Counterfit Countess\,” was published in 2024 with Joanna Sliwa
