Days of Remembrance

   Each year since 1988, the City of Alexandria has sponsored a civic ceremony observing the Days of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust. The City’s ceremony, which is planned by a committee of Alexandria residents, was the first local government-sponsored commemoration of the Holocaust in the Washington metropolitan area.
